Millie Bobby Brown has addressed her relationship with David Harbour following the recent claims of bullying.
Reports went viral in the build-up to the first drop of Stranger Things’ fifth season, as it was alleged that the Eleven actor had made accusations against her co-star.
And not long after those allegations began circulating, the pair appeared to make a statement as they took to the red carpet for the Netflix series’ premiere together in Los Angeles.
Brown and Harbour have starred in the hit show since its very first series – all the way back in 2016. But with his character, Hopper, off in a Russian labour camp for much of season four, the pair didn’t particularly have much screen time together.

Not the biggest spoiler, but they do have a fair bit more time together in the new episodes and reports suggest it wasn’t all so positive.

Alleged bullying claims
The Daily Mail first shared the report at the start of the month, alleging that Brown had filed a bullying and harassment complaint against Harbour before filming for the fifth season began.
It alleged there were ‘pages and pages’ of accusations made by the 21-year-old against the 50-year-old. The specific claims were not detailed and no sexual impropriety was reportedly alleged.

It’s said an internal investigation by Netflix lasted ‘for months’ and Brown allegedly ended up accompanied by a personal representative on set for Stranger Things’ final season.
Creators of the show Matt and Ross Duffer addressed the allegations at the premiere, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.
The showrunners said: “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them.
“So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”

Millie Bobby Brown addresses their relationship
Brown and Harbour seemed to make a clear statement at the LA premiere by being photographed together and smiling away, sharing hugs and a laugh.

They spoke highly of one another in interviews but not quite everyone bought it.
And The Hollywood Reporter later asked Brown why it was important for the pair to have united front amid the allegations.
“We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years,” the star said. “I mean, we have always been united in that. We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.”
Brown also added that it was ‘so nice’ to ‘come back together’ with her on-screen father figure for the final season as she was ‘excited’ to have some fans favourite scenes be back again.
“It was quite nostalgic because it reminded me so much of season two and three, where we’re both kind of butting heads and she’s growing up, she’s trying to find her own voice and he’s trying to parent, and that dynamic definitely comes back into play once again, and I’m really excited for people to see that,” she said.
