Nara Smith has revealed that her two-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with cancer.
The model and TikToker, known for her 'making things from scratch' cooking videos, shared the emotional update with her followers on Instagram earlier today, explaining that she and partner Lucky Blue Smith learned their daughter Whimsy Lou had cancer 'late last year' after a hospital visit.
The Homemade cookbook author explained that after noticing 'something suspicious' on the two-year-old, she and Lucky took her to the emergency room.
'My heart dropped in that moment'
"They didn't quite know what to make of it," she explained. "So we took her to our paediatrician [and] I just remember him going really quiet and calm.

"My heart dropped in that moment," Nara continued. "I don't know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mom's intuition, but the first thing that I felt was she has cancer."
'Processing this and navigating this as a family has been really hard'
Recalling the moment she was told it was cancer, she said: "After a lot of X-rays, ultrasounds and finally a biopsy, they immediately called us and said that she had cancer, told us it had spread and that she needs to come and start chemo treatments immediately."
Nara went on to explain that she and Lucky - who are also parents to daughter Rumble Honey, five, son Slim Easy, four, and nine-month-old daughter Fawnie Golden - had found support through speaking to parents and going through similar situations.

"All of that combined really brought me a lot of comfort and alleviated the feeling of loneliness for me," she said. "Processing this and navigating this as a family has been really hard."
Nara added that she hoped that sharing her daughter's story would bring comfort or encourage people to visit a doctor if they noticed unusual symptoms.
"We wanted to share this to give anyone else that comfort or incentivise you to go get something checked out that you've been avoiding," she added.
"Thankful for each and every nurse and doctor along our journey who helped us get through and out the other end," she added in the caption.
Smith is best known online for creating elaborate meals from scratch while wearing extravagant designer clothing, earning her over 12 million followers on TikTok.
She and husband Lucky Blue, who has daughter Gravity from a previous relationship, are also models, with the 24-year-old acknowledging that her work schedule has been impacted by her daughter's diagnosis.
"A lot of you have probably realised that I've been posting a little less and this is the reason why," she said.
"Having found all of this out and navigating this while postpartum, also loving and caring for our other kids at home, also being in the hospital with Whimsy a lot and balancing work on top of that has been really challenging."
