Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry were one of Hollywood’s most recognisable couples for a number of years prior to their split earlier this year.
Bloom, who was engaged to Perry for six years, embarks on a press tour for his newly releasing film The Cut.
The film is a boxing movie in which Bloom stars as an aging fighter who must make weight in order to achieve one last shot at the title, releasing last year for film festivals but only just making it to cinemas.
Whilst Bloom would’ve hoped the focus would lie entirely with the new film however, it has turned back towards his relationship with Katy Perry after being involved in a bizarre legal battle alongside his ex-fiancée.

Amid rumours the pair had split six years after their engagement and five years after Katy Perry gave birth to their child, Daisy Dove, the pair released a joint statement confirming their split.
The former couple sent a statement to US Weekly via a representative addressing the rumours.
They said: “Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Since then, the pair have yet to speak publicly. However, sources close to Orlando Bloom spoke to Radar Online after Perry was spotted on a public date with Justin Trudeau.

They stated he ‘didn’t see it coming’, but added: “He didn't see this coming, but he wishes Katy nothing but peace and happiness.”

Katy Perry has been involved in an ongoing legal battle with an elderly entrepreneur, Carl Westcott, in a dispute over a $15,000,000 California mansion.
Perry purchased the mansion from Westcott, who suffers from Huntington’s Disease, a genetic brain disorder. The property was bought in 2020, but Westcott sought to rescind the purchase claiming that he lacked the capacity to sign.

Despite the pair having split and Perry being the main focus of the lawsuit, Bloom has become embroiled in the ongoing legal battle after it was revealed that he had actually paid for the mansion via an LLC.
This was used in court by Westcott to claim that it proved Perry had no financial stake in the house. Perry testified in court that her and Bloom are ‘family for life’.
In yesterday's hearing, it was found that there was 'significant' evidence of the contract being signed between the pair and that Westcott had failed to prove that he lacked capacity to sign it.
