A woman is insisting that she is Ozzy Osbourne's secret daughter, the late rocker's family have revealed.

The 'Prince of Darkness', 76, passed away on 22 July after suffering a heart attack, while he had also been battling both coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.

For the first time since his death, his loved ones sat down to film an episode of The Osbournes podcast, although there was a notable absence in the form of Ozzy.

His widow Sharon, 73, spoke about being overwhelmed by 'waves' of grief as she sat down alongside children Kelly and Jack during the emotional episode.

Talk among the trio then turned to the outpouring of love they have received since Ozzy's death, as the former X Factor judge said: "It's just been overwhelmingly wonderful.

"Everybody has reached out to us - thousands and thousands of people we've never met," Sharon said. "Everything that has been sent to us, we've read, we appreciate."

However, the Osbourne matriarch did admit that there is one person the family would prefer to stop receiving correspondence from.

A woman who is 'absolutely convinced' she is the Black Sabbath legend's secret love child has been sending his relatives an array of bizarre items in the post.

Kelly, 41, told listeners: "We've had quite a few nutters coming out of the woodwork, saying that they're speaking to dad from the grave."

Sharon then chimed in saying: "We had one lady send us her toenails."

Even though that parcel alone would be gross enough, it turns out that the mystery woman also sent bodily fluids to the Osbournes.

"It was a toenail, some blood, hair, because she's absolutely convinced that she is dad's child," Kelly continued.

Sharon explained that the woman's mother had apparently told her that Ozzy was her father, to which Jack, 40, jokingly replied: "So we need to do a DNA test? Oh, this is so exciting! We have a new a new sibling!"

Kelly then went on to say that she finds it 'severely inappropriate' when people claim to be talking to her late father from beyond the grave.

Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Sharon was left in tears after listening to a tribute to Ozzy from US president Donald Trump.

The commander-in-chief left her a voicemail offering his condolences to the family and describing the 'Iron Man' singer as an 'amazing guy'.

"I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented," Trump said. "So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do...

"Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye."
