Paris Fury responds as daughter gets engaged at her 16th birthday party

The mum-of-seven revealed she was 'still in shock' just hours after the event took place

Paris Fury has announced that her and Tyson Fury’s eldest daughter got engaged whilst celebrating a milestone moment - drawing serious ire from some social media critics due to her age.

On Saturday (September 27), the Fury matriarch, 35, took to Instagram to share an intimate clip from her daughter Venezuela’s proposal, which took place at the teenager’s 16th birthday bash.

In a clip shared with her 1.9 million Instagram followers, Paris captured the moment her child’s boyfriend, boxer Noah Price, got down on one knee in the middle of the light-up dance floor.

The pair could be giggling before embracing, with Venezuela slipping the ring on shortly afterwards.

Expressing her joy, Paris wrote: “Congratulations to @venezuelafuryofficial and @7noahprice on getting engaged. Both only young but when you know you know.

“Still in shock but very happy for you both,” she continued. “Me and your Dad couldn’t be prouder xxx @tysonfury.”

Fans have come out in their droves to celebrate the newly engaged couple, with one recalling how Paris and The Gypsy King began dating aged 16 and 17, respectively.

“For everyone saying she’s too young - Paris got with Tyson at her 16th birthday & they’re still here happily married with a lovely little family 18yrs later ….don't be haters,” the Instagram user wrote.

A second commented: “The pure respect of kissing her on the cheek in front of her mum and dad.”

“Age doesn't matter, happiness matters. As long as he treats her right, otherwise Tyson will be there,” joked someone else.

Many other viewers were quick to quip that Venezuela was ‘too young’ to be getting engaged, with one typing: “Omg she hasn't lived.”

“She’s a child - this is so wrong,” echoed another.

Before the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Minimum Age) Act in 2022, individuals could enter marriages or civil partnerships from age of 16 with parental consent.

However, the minimum age to get married or enter a civil partnership in the UK is now 18, meaning Venezuela and Noah will have to wait a couple of years to tie the knot.

Paris, who was 19 when she first married Tyson, when he was 21, has renewed her wedding vows twice since.

The couple - who share seven children - jetted off to New York City for their first vow renewal ceremony in April 2013.

And in August 2025, they said ‘I do’ for a third time in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France.

Sharing pictures from the day, the Wythenshawe-born star wrote: “Paris & I got married again third time lucky. We had the most beautiful day in sof [French flag] it holds a lot of special memories for us.”

Earlier this year, Netflix confirmed that its favourite fly-on-the-wall documentary series, At Home with the Furys, would return for a second outing.

The first nine-episode season featured the heavyweight boxer and Paris, along with six of their seven children, including Venezuela, Prince John James, 12, Prince Tyson II, 8, Valenica, 7, Prince Adonis Amaziah, 6, and Athena, three.

The celebrity couple also has a one-year-old son, Prince Rico Paris, who was born in September 2023.

Tyson’s brother Tommy Fury and girlfriend Molly Mae-Hague, both 26, also featured in the show.

It’s not clear when At Home with the Furys season two will air.
