Pete Davidson is keeping one tattoo of politician despite removing most of his 200 tattoos

Pete Davidson is in the process of getting over 200 tattoos removed but there's one which he's determined to keep, and it's not your usual ink.
The comedian used to be well-known for the huge number of tattoos that covered his body but back in 2020, he started the long and arduous process of getting the majority of them removed.
Although he admitted that getting rid of the 'horrible' tattoos was partly a business decision, due to his career on the screen, there's one tattoo that is close to his heart (even though it's on his leg), that he won't be saying goodbye to anytime soon.

Rather than the very original tattoos that you see on the streets, like wolves or clocks, or even the butterfly lower back tattoo, it's actually a portrait of former First Lady of the United States, Hilary Clinton.
Speaking to Variety about his expensive clean-up act, the 32-year-old explained his reasoning for ditching the ink in favour of a more natural look.
He said: “One, they were f*****g horrible. Two, it was a business decision. I hated coming into the makeup trailer three hours early to spray-paint over horrible f*****g tattoos. And third, I was like, ‘I’m not this dude.’ I got these when I was in an immense amount of pain and I was trying to show people my pain.”
Davidson, who lost his firefighter father during the 9/11 attacks, has struggled with self-harm earlier in his life and confirmed that some of his tattoos were used to cover up the cuts, but he is clearly in a better place now.
And while he's known as something of a ladies man, thanks to an illustrious list of ex-girlfriends including Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and Emily Ratajkowski among others, it seems as if Clinton is his number one, as the tattoo of her wearing a power suit will maintain pride of place on his right leg.
He explained: “She stays. That’s my dog. I love Hillary, man. She’s awesome and a good friend.”
Davidson has also previously admitted that some of his tattoos were just plain 'dumb', as he once got a giant shark on his chest as well as the names of his exes, which has probably taken a long old time to erase given his history on this matter.
Given his recent dedication to removing the tattoos, it seems as if his most recent ex Elsie Hewitt won't feature on his body, despite giving birth to his first child back in December, only for the couple to seemingly confirm their split back in May.
In a clip on TikTok, Hewitt said: "I'm exhausted, OK? I should've left the house looking nicer yesterday. I should've known that that was going to happen.
"That's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of.
“And I also have to work and make money. I'm doing it on my own, which is hard."
