Presley Gerber died in a $7.7m 'sober house' rehab facility
New details have been revealed about the rehab facility Presley Gerber was in at the time of his death.
Presley, who is the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, passed away on Sunday (20 September) at just 27.
His heartbroken family confirmed the news to TMZ, with a representative saying: "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time."
A report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner stated that Presley died while at a rehab centre.

TMZ has now shared details on the $7.7 million facility, which describes itself as a ‘structured recovery residence’, rather than a typical hospital or detox centre.
The outlet reports that the centre runs a program ‘designed for people transitioning out of more intensive treatment and trying to rebuild their lives in a supervised, sober environment’.
The program it runs is specifically for people living with substance abuse, mental-health conditions, eating disorders, trauma and co-occurring disorders.
The facility offers shared meals, social activities and outings as well as various wellness activities, like yoga, hiking, and art workshops.
The centre says its program is designed to help residents build healthy relationships and accountability while in a sober-living setting.
It also has around the clock staff on-site, a gym, a movie theatre, chef-prepared meals, and outdoor and common areas, TMZ reports.
It is not known how long Presley, who is the sister of model and actress Kaia Gerber, had been at the facility before his death.
The Santa Monica Police Department has said it is investigating the death as a ‘suspected overdose’.
In a statement, the force said: “On September 20, 2026, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Santa Monica Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible overdose in the 1000 block of Berkeley Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased.
“The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified the individual as Presley Gerber, 27.
“SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
“The investigation remains ongoing. Additional inquiries regarding the Medical Examiner’s findings should be directed to that department.”
Presley, who followed in his mum’s footsteps as a model, had been open about his struggles with addiction and his mental health during his life.
Speaking on on the Studio 22 podcast three years ago, he said: Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do.
“[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it. That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment.”
