People think they know why Quentin Tarantino launched a tirade against a Hollywood actor after claiming he was the ‘big giant flaw’ in one of his productions.
As one of the biggest and more renowned film directors in history, Tarantino’s opinion is sought after.
Whether it’s films he likes, dislikes, or things he wished could have been improved, there’s going to be someone out there who wants to listen.
However, the director has had social media speculate about him after he was on The Bret Easton Ellis podcast and named one actor as the ‘weakest f*cking actor’ due to his performance in a 2007 flick.

Tarantino named 10 movies, which included Daniel Day Lewis’s drama There Will Be Blood being put in fifth place. However, he claimed that it would have ranked higher had this actor not been involved in production.

The director said: "There Will Be Blood would stand a better chance to be in number one or number two if it didn't have a big giant flaw in it, and the flaw is Paul Dano.
"Obviously, it's supposed to be a two-hander, and it's also so drastically obvious that it's not a two-hander."
Dano played both Paul and Eli Sunday in the film after actor Kel O'Neill was let go two weeks into the project, giving him more screen time.

So, what’s his beef with Dano?
Well, according to social media...it’s his alleged foot fetish.
For years, there have been rumours that Tarantino is obsessed with feet, given how many nude foot scenes there are in his films.
The joke has been so imbedded into what people think of the director, that even Uma Thurman, who was his Kill Bill muse, reportedly warned her daughter Maya Hawke to keep her shoes on when working with him on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Social media comments ran rife with theories that Dano somehow did something foot related to p*** off the director, with one stating: “I heard Paul Dano gave Tarantino's wife a foot massage.”

Another then asked: “Did Paul Dano f*** Tarantino’s mom or something?”
A user went on to joke: “I bet Dano’s feet are the only man’s feet Tarantino likes and it confuses him.”
As for how Tarantino feels about the talk about his love of feet, he told GQ: “I don’t take it seriously.”
In fact, he thinks it’s 'just good direction'.

He added: “There’s a lot of feet in a lot of good directors’ movies. Like, before me, the person foot fetishism was defined by was Luis Buñuel, another film director. And Hitchcock was accused of it, and Sofia Coppola has been accused of it.”
Even though Dano was nominated for Best Supporting Actor BAFTA for his role in the flick, the director called him a 'limp d*ck’ actor, describing Dano as 'just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy... the weakest f*cking actor in SAG' during the podcast episode.
LADbible previously contacted the representatives of Quentin Tarantino and Paul Dano for comment.
