Having recently claimed he ‘doesn’t have long left to live’, Ray J has opened up more about his prognosis.
Earlier this month, the rapper was treated for pneumonia and has now said that his ‘health is not OK’.
The 45-year-old claimed in one video that ‘2027 is definitely a wrap for me’ and while a friend in the background contested, they added ‘f**k the doctor’.
And now Ray J has spoken about doctors’ attempts to prolong his life as he gestured to his heart on an Instagram livestream and said: “This is black. This is, like, done.”

He explained that he has previously ‘almost died’ during his time in hospital, adding that he ‘f**ked up’.
“I think I thought I had more weight. I thought I was big so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall,” he said. “I could handle all the drugs — but I couldn't. It curved my time here.”

Ray J told TMZ that he has been prescribed with eight different kinds of medications as they say ‘they’re not sure how long he has to live’. His meds apparently include the likes of cholesterol medication Lipitor, Jardiance and Entresto – often given to those at high risk of heart failure.
The ex of Kim Kardashian claimed he has been advised to ‘stay in bed and take his medication’.
Ray J also added that he’s been told to prepare for the possibility of being fitted with a pacemaker or defibrillator. However, he is waiting on an update when he goes back to the doctor’s for a check-up in two weeks.
Having said on social media that he ‘shouldn’t have went this hard’, Ray J added that doctors have warned him against drinking or smoking.

The ‘One Wish’ singer said he’s doing his best to stay ‘on the straight and narrow’ and that not being able to see his kids ‘took me down’.
Currently under a criminal protective order preventing him from seeing his children, Ray J said this made him ‘realise I need to change my ways of living’.
While he did refer to next year being ‘a wrap’ on social media, he does appear to hope to be treated as he added: “If I come out of this, I'll be stronger and a better person."
Ray J also said on social media that whatever happens, his family will be financially secure.
“My baby mama gonna be straight, my kids gonna be straight, if they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it. I did my part here,” he said.
“And damn, when it’s all done, burn me, don’t bury me.”
