A photographer who worked with Ray J on his recent music performance has made a claim about the 'blood' that was streaming down the rapper's eyes.
Concerns were sparked for the 45-year-old after his Valentines Day performance in Louisiana, as just weeks after announcing that he 'doesn't have long left to live', he appeared to have blood coming from his eyes during his gig.
He had confirmed to TMZ in late January that he was struggling with his health, after a bout of pneumonia left his heart beating at just '25 per cent' and he later went as far as to suggest that '2027 is definitely a wrap' for him.
Naturally, those watching on were left shocked when what looked to be a crimson tear appeared underneath his eye as he handed out roses to members of the audience at last weekend's gig, but now a photographer who was working at the performance has shed some more light on what might have actually happened.

Speaking to People, videographer Tommy Nard II suggested that he'd seen the 'One Wish' singer applying 'fake blood' before the performance.
He added: "He loves the camera. He loves the attention. Anybody that knows him, it’s all theatrical.
"I'm behind the scenes, like, 'What are you doing?'
"I seen him literally put on the fake blood and things like that, and go out there with the crowd, which is very shocking that he’d do something like that."
However, Ray J's manager Melinda Santiago has already raised issue with those claims, and reminded fans of the health issues that the rapper is currently facing.

In a statement, she said: "The bottom line is Ray J has been in and out of the hospital dealing with health and heart issues. That is a fact. Another fact is that the meds that Ray is on have some side effects.
"It's absurd that a local videographer (not our team) would want to clout chase for five min of fame off of Ray J name and play about Ray being sick is sick in itself. My job is to protect my artists backstage from opportunistic people. If we can't do that, then I’ll be cutting off all backstage access moving forward."
Ray J previously claimed that his heart was 'black' and that he'd been told to prepare for a pacemaker or defibrillator, as he is also taking a cocktail of different heart medications, blaming drugs and alcohol abuse for the damage.
He said: "I thought I was so big so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, the drugs, I can handle everything - but I couldn’t. It curved my time."
Videos from last week's concert shared on social media also saw the performer reveal medical dressing on his chest, and if the blood coming from his eyes was genuine, the videos certainly suggest that he wasn't all that concerned by it.
LADbible has contacted Ray J's representatives for comment.
