Steve Irwin’s son Robert has gone Instagram-official with Heath Ledger’s niece Rorie Buckey - who has described her new love as her 'adventure buddy'.
Irwin, 19, is the son of zookeeper and conservationist ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin, who died in 2006 after being injured by a stingray.
He was first spotted with Buckey – the 19-year-old niece of late Australian actor Heath Ledger – towards the end of last year, when they were photographed eating burgers as they watched the sunset on a Queensland beach.
Buckey, the daughter of the late Heath Ledger’s sister, also joined Robert and his mother, Terri, at the crocodile show at the Australia Zoo on his birthday last December.

In July, the pair made their red carpet debut when they posed for the cameras at the Sydney premiere of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.
Irwin wore an all-black suit, while Buckey opted for an asymmetrical long black dress with a side cutout.
Irwin has now gone Instagram-official with Buckey, having shared a smiling selfie of them both on the social media site.
He captioned the post with two flower emojis and a sun emoji.
“You just broke the hearts of tens of thousands of young girls across the world,” one fan commented, adding: “Congrats tho.”
Buckey then also posted a snap of the two of them, referring to Irwin as her ‘adventure buddy’ - pinning the snap to the top of her feed.
Irwin responded with a love heart, while his mum Terri commented underneath: “You guys,” adding three love heart emojis.
And it seems Buckey shares her partner's love for conservationism, having posted a photo yesterday of them releasing a sea turtle into the wild.
"Releasing this beautiful Sea Turtle that was rehabilitated at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital," she wrote, with Irwin saying it was the 'best day'.
Back in December last year, Irwin spoke about his sister Bindi wanting him to find someone special after she welcomed her daughter Grace Warrior with husband Chandler Powell in March 2021.
"It's pretty funny because of course, my sister has gotten married and had a kid and there's always a lot of rumors that go around," he told E! News.
"Bindi's having a second kid' or 'they're having triplets.'
"There's always so many crazy things that happen so Bindi always says, 'Robert, it's your turn now. You gotta find someone to take the heat off me!'"
