Romeo Beckham is seen sharing a kiss with his male co-star in the trailer for his on-screen acting debut.
French queer tennis romance film Forty Love sees the second eldest son of David and Victoria plays a charismatic and 'destabilizing' tennis rival.
The former footballer and model, 24, stars alongside French actor Paul Kircher, who plays the tennis prodigy Sacha Gallo, as well as Guillaume Canet, Benjamin Voisin, and Catherine Deneuve.
There’s a number of dramatic moments in the trailer, including when Romeo's character references a famous quote by tennis star Rafael Nadal: “I don't want to sound like I want to be his boyfriend,”, followed by an intimate kiss scene with Kircher.

Romeo tells Kircher: "It’s not my fault if you’re ******* in love with me!"

In another scene on the tennis court, he adds: "Sleep with your eyes open, I’m coming for you."
The synopsis reads: “For the first time, he faces an opponent of an entirely different nature - love.
“A force as exhilarating as it is destabilizing - and far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court.”
Producer Hugo Sélignac described the film as ‘sensual, romantic and deeply moving romantic fable and coming-of-age story’ about the ‘demands of high-level sport, and everything that lies beneath the surface… led by outstanding performances’.
In September 2024, Romeo turned down a contract extension from Brentford to transition away from professional sports.
He has since signed with top Parisian fashion agency Safe Management and has walked the runway or starred in major campaigns for global luxury labels like Versace, Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga.
In 2026, he expanded his fashion footprint by founding his own retro streetwear brand, Intra.
His father David has also given acting a go, from starring in an episode of Modern Family to a cameo in Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.

“I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed,” he said to British Vogue at the time.
“I know it is a tough profession, where you need a huge amount of skill and discipline. I wouldn’t want to push myself forward too soon, without learning more about it and doing a lot more practice.
“But what I have done so far, I have loved. I can deal with most things. I am a well-known person, so I have gotten used to criticism. It was nerve-racking delivering the lines, but it actually went really well. The thing about sport is that it gets the heart beating faster. You focus the mind in order to deliver. Acting has a similar feel.”
Forty Love is set to release in French theaters on 25 November 2026.
