Sadie Sink's new Calvin Klein ad has hidden message to X-Men fans
In what has been a huge year for Sadie Sink, she’s just featured in her first Calvin Klein ad.
But it’s been pointed out that this isn’t just a simple, fun fashion campaign but has a bit of a hidden message for those looking for Marvel easter eggs.
Having had her breakthrough as Max Mayfield in Stranger Things, the 24-year-old recently entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
And well, there’s the obvious clue – her Calvin Klein ad is for its Fall 2026 Feel the Fit denim campaign. Jeans.

So it’s pretty fair to say that Sink is somewhat tying in her latest gig with her role as the X-men mutant superhero. “Jean Grey doing a jeans ad,” fans write.
The brand has rolled out plenty of content since the launch of the campaign with the first Instagram video showing the star laying on a bed and picking up her jeans from the floor.
She then wiggles herself into them while still on the bed before dancing around the bedroom.
“Feel the fit. Calvin Klein,” Sink says at the end of the clip.
A number of video and snaps of the Romeo & Juliet actor have been shared as part of the campaign, as she dons the denim.
And many fans have pointed out a slightly missed opportunity: “Grey jeans would have been even better.” With another echoing: “Missed opportunity for Jeans Grey advertising.”
“Come on, guys, how come her jeans are not grey?,” a third wrote.
While others are keeping fed off the tiny link to Marvel, simply commenting: “JEAAAAAAN GREEEEEEEEEEY.”
“JEAN grey,” others echoed, with many agreeing she’s truly ‘in Hollywood’ now that she’s working with Calvin Klein.
Other clips show her getting soaked by an exploding tap and overflowing sink as she puts on her jeans, again seeming like a tongue-in-cheek reference to her last name and superhero powers.
Sink will be playing the mutant in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie, scheduled to land in cinemas on 5 May, 2028.
She’ll be joined by the likes of Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Maya Boyd as Storm and Adam Driver as Nathaniel Essex – Mister Sinister.
