New cryptic White House post has hidden message if played backwards

Another day, another confusing message from the Donald Trump administration

Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you that The White House has posted another cryptic message on its social media account.

Yesterday, the Trump administration decided the best possible use of its social media comms would be to share - and swiftly delete - a post about a new project which is 'launching soon'.

The brief clip showed the camera pointing to a woman's legs while capturing a background conversation out of context. "So cool," one person can be heard saying, adding: "It's launching soon, right?"

As if that wasn't enough, the admin in charge of the account has again shared another cryptic video, this time featuring a glitchy White House logo and a heavily edited, indecipherable audio.

Can't make any sense of it? You're probably not the only one. Though thankfully, a few listeners decided to run the video backwards through video software and discovered a 'secret' hidden message.

When played in reverse, the brief clip includes the message, 'Exciting announcement tomorrow', with no further context or information.

The clip has since been shared numerous times across social media platforms, which LADbible has also reversed and can confirm is correct.

Take a listen below:

This wasn't the only cryptic message shared on the account in the past few hours either, with several pixelated images of President Trump and JD Vance holding phones also being shared. Meanwhile, Deputy Assistant to the President and White House Deputy Communication officer Kaelan Dorr reposted the video alongside the message: "Almost there."

This isn't the first time that 'hidden' messages played in reverse have been a thing - who remembers when people claimed that pop songs held secret Illuminati messages - but it feels a bit different when it's the government of the most powerful country in the world doing it.

As for what the message could be alluding to is honestly anyone's guess, with online speculation ranging from oil prices to an update on the war with Iran and aliens.

Meanwhile, one user noted that the piano track appeared to be a sample of Jay-Z's track 'Public Service Announcement'. He went on to piece together an interesting theory that, considering the pixelated images, the announcement was something 'to do with 6G phone networks'.

"It has to do with communication and phones. I am guessing it’s 6G networks are live in the U.S. and going to be rolled out years earlier than expected," he added.

This is, of course, all complete speculation, but it certainly makes more sense than the other suggestions

However, not everyone was so patient with the announcement, with several other responses suggesting that a lot of people weren't on board with the cryptic messages.

"Who the heck is this lunatic drunk publishing on this account..?!" read one reply, while a second added: "Can't you ruin the country without being so cringe?"
