An insider associated with Sean 'Diddy' Combs has spoken about what would happen if the lights 'turned red' in a room the music mogul was in.

Combs, 55, is currently incarcerated at Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York and awaiting trial for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering by force, fraud or coercion.

The charges focused on allegations that Combs had used his 'power and prestige' to to drug sex workers during his infamous 'freak off' parties. He also faces numerous lawsuits related to accusations of sexual misconduct.

He has denied all the allegations made against him and entered a 'not guilty' to all charges. The rapper is currently expected to begin his trial on Monday, 5 May.

Meanwhile Peacock has released a trailer for their upcoming documentary on Combs. Watch the trailer below:

Titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, the documentary will give viewers a glimpse of the rapper's early years and life behind-the-scenes, as well as featuring interviews from a number of people who knew him personally.

"Featuring never-before-seen footage and stories from those who know him best, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy sheds light on his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal allegations, challenging viewers to rethink everything they thought they knew about the mogul behind the music – and the mugshot," the synopsis reads.

In the trailer we see archive footage and photos of the rapper, while numerous people share their stories and allegations.

Interviewees include a former bodyguard, childhood friends, a winner from Combs' Making the Band series, as well as producer and singer-songwriter Al B. Sure!, who was at Uptown Records with Combs.

"Honestly, I didn’t want to be around him unless there was cameras," one interviewee says, while an unidentified woman revealed that she was told: "They said they could ship me off and sell me to anyone."

Another chilling allegation came from another unidentified 'insider' who was previously associated with the rapper, revealing how a room being 'lit red' was a signal that Combs was engaging in sexual activity.

"I’ve been with Sean for quite a while and I’ve captured a lot of moments,” says the unidentified insider explained. "Anytime a studio or any rooms is [lit with red lighting], he’s making love, sex. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure, they were underage."

LADbible Group has approached Combs' reps for comment.

Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy will be available to watch in the US on Peacock on 14 January.
