Sydney Sweeney has answered one of the hottest questions about her appearance.

The actor is currently on a press tour for her new film, The Housemaid, in which she takes on the titular role.

Sweeney has been hard at work in 2025, with this being her third leading role in a movie this year, with more attention on her than ever before.

A lot has been said about her acting, especially following the box office flop that was Christy, but many are expecting more from the upcoming title with Amanda Seyfried, who plays a wealthy and seemingly unstable housewife in the movie.

The stars recently took part in the famed Vanity Fair lie detector test, where they were faced with tough questions as a lie detector senses if they are lying or telling the truth.

While Sweeney was hooked up to the machine, Seyfried asked: “There’s been a question on everybody’s minds recently, and I just have to ask, are your boobs real?”

The 28-year-old answered: “Yes, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.”

In the video uploaded on Thursday (11 December), the lie detector proctor confirmed that the Anyone But You star was being 'truthful'.

Seyfried then jokingly asked if she could 'touch 'em', to which Sweeney said 'sure' - though this is not the first time the actor has been faced with cosmetic surgery questions.

During an interview with Allure, Sweeney was asked about rumours that she'd had plastic surgery, to which she answered: “Let’s debunk them all.

“I mean, I have never gotten work done… I am so scared of needles, you have no idea.”

The Euphoria star spoke about how fans think they know her based on the types of characters she plays in a previous interview with Variety too, explaining: “So when people think, 'Ah, she’s a sex symbol,' or 'She’s leaning into that,' I’m like, 'No, I just feel good and I’m doing it for myself and I feel strong.'”

She claimed that she wants to 'inspire' women to be more confident and 'flaunt what they got'.

Sweeney said she wants to 'age gracefully' when speaking about her appearance, pointing out that it isn't fair to be compared to a photo of her from when she was 12.

She has also touched on the fact that she considered breast reduction surgery when speaking to Glamour in 2023, admitting that her mother intervened and told her not to make 'any rash decisions' as she may regret it.

At the time, Sweeney said: "I like them. They’re my best friends.

"Everybody’s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you’re happy within is when it really shows to other people."
