Well, after a whole load of nudity, controversial scenes and character deaths (still not over it), Euphoria season three has come to an end.
We waited what felt like an age for the new episodes, with it set five years where we left the characters back in season two (which ended back in 2022).
And we saw Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) take on a career in OnlyFans, Nate (Jacob Elordi) get himself into gruesome, deadly situations and Rue (Zendaya) be buried up to her neck in sand and well, trouble.
Marking the end of both the season and Euphoria altogether, Sweeney has shared some behind-the-scenes snaps.

This includes a glimpse into how some of her nude scenes were filmed, proving she wasn’t necessarily totally naked every time – like that snake moment.

In episode six, Cassie posed with a large yellow-tailed python as she took part in a a photoshoot in Alamo’s (Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje) strip club.
Paying a bit of a homage to Britney Spears’ iconic performance at the 2001 MTV VMAs when the singer performed ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’ with a live snake, Cassie had the creature draped across her.
This scene of course went viral, as Cassie appeared nude with the python wrapping around her.
Of course this came to be a bit of a foreshadowing as her husband Nate ended up buried alive and attacked by a rattlesnake in the following episode.
And Sweeney included a snap on her Instagram carousel as she showed more behind how the scene was filmed as she wrote in the caption: “It’s called… acting.”

In the photo, Sweeney has the snake draped across her front, with leaves covering her nipples and wearing a nude pair of tights up to her waist, with a nude thong underneath and more leaves protecting her modesty.
Another side on image with the snake shows the tights visible at the waistband.
Also in the carousel was a photo of Elordi alongside the late Eric Dane, BTS from the incredible wedding fight scene, and a selfie from her dog lingerie scene.

Fans commented to say the star was ‘incredible’ and ‘iconic’ as one claimed: “Acted so good people are HATING,” while others noted the absence of some of the show’s other stars from the photos.
As Sweeney marks the end of her time on the show, HBO has confirmed that Euphoria is officially over.
The show’s creator Sam Levinson announced this on The New York Times’ music podcast, Popcast.
