Sydney Sweeney appeared on YouTube show Hot Ones and was worried what the comments might say after tearing up.

If you don't know the premise of Hot Ones, it's a show on YouTube channel First We Feast where celebrities come in and eat a series of hot wings doused in the most scorching sauces you can imagine.

Celebs have got to maintain their composure and carry on with their interview, even while every cell in their mouth is screaming that it's on fire.

10 chicken wings with hotter and hotter sauces must be eaten, and the final sauce is Hot Ones own The Last Dab, which has a Scoville rating of over two million.

Sydney Sweeney recently made her appearance on Hot Ones and put in one hell of an effort, not going for her drink until she'd finished the lot.

If you can take 'Da Bomb' and not end up looking like this you deserve a medal.

Sweeney was doing incredibly well with the hot sauces, making her way through the first seven of them without much of a problem.

However, then came the time for Hot Ones to drop 'Da Bomb', a sauce rated at 135,000 Scoville units and a very popular condiment on the YouTube show, onto wing number eight.

Da Bomb prides itself on being 'one of the hottest sauces on Earth' and it's no surprise that Hot Ones likes to bring it out and see how their guests handle the heat.

At first Sweeney seemed to be tackling it with gusto, saying it was 'pretty good' before the true horror of Da Bomb made itself known.

The first sign that something was happening was when The Handmaid's Tale star said 'I feel tingly on my lips' and suggested it 'might have an after effect', and she certainly wasn't wrong as she was about to discover.

She was worried that 'people are just gonna come at me in the comments now', but Hot Ones viewers respected her taking the best the show had to throw at her.

Sweeney said the heat was building in her mouth and wasn't stopping, and could do little beyond saying 'wow' and asking Sean Evans if his tongue had gone numb.

She then asked if he was going to drink and relieve the scorching sensation in his mouth as she didn't want to be be the first one to take a drink.

Evans tried to keep the conversation going, but all Sweeney could wonder was 'how are you still talking'.

"God damn, people are just gonna come at me in the comments now," she said after tearing up due to the hot sauce, though Evans reassured her people would be 'so inspired by your bravery here'.

Indeed, the comments were full of people praising Sweeney for taking the best shots Hot Ones had to offer and making it through to the end.
