Taylor Swift called out over 'photoshop fail' after announcing surprise new music
Fans of Taylor Swift spotted what seemed to be a photoshop problem in artwork released to accompany the singer's new single.
Swift took to social media to share the image, confirming that she would be releasing the new single Patient Zero, which the post confirmed would be out on 25 September.
The photo for the post featured Swift in a sleeveless black dress which went all the way up to her neck, leaning back on a concrete wall.
But while many were delighted by the prospect of more music from Swift, many pointed out something in the image on Swift's arm.

It appeared difficult to distinguish between Swift's underarm and her side, with even swifties pointing out what appeared to be editing on the photo, taking to the comments to share their thoughts, the Daily Mail reports.
"No shade, but they edited her armpit to HELL," one person wrote, though they added the caveat: "I love Taylor, by the way."
Meanwhile another wrote: "The Photoshop on Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" cover is horrendous... girl, you're a billionaire, please get a professional photographer."
A third wrote: "I'm so sorry but why does the side of her look so poorly edited? It looks way over-airbrushed."
Someone else said that 'they Photoshopped your shoulder out of existence'.
Others however took a more optimistic tone, with one person writing: "The Photoshop is so horrendously bad, but god, Tay, you'll shine through forever and always."
The post said: "I’ve been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single “Patient Zero” will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it’s available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours."
Fans were plunged into excited speculation after Swift's website suddenly started a countdown for two hours on September 22, with her social media feeds also being changed to say 'And, baby, that’s sh0w business f0r y0u' and a fiery heart emoji.
Many thought that Swift may have been about to share pictures from inside her wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, with images from the actual ceremony not yet out, though billboards outside announced 'JUST&T MARRIED' to passers by in New York.
Meanwhile, others thought that it might have been announcing a deluxe release of Swift's newest album, or even a sister album accompanying it, with one writing: "The Life of A Showgirl and it’s the death of a showgirl."
But in the end it turned out not to be pictures of her wedding, but the announcement of the new single, as well as the cover art for it.
The single, Patient Zero could possibly refer to a 2024 article in the LA Times in which Swift was described as 'patient zero' for contagion of emotions.
It is available on three different versions of the track, priced at $3.99, as well as piano singles and acoustic singles as well.
And this is not the only single that Swift has recently released either, as the singer also appears on the soundtrack for Toy Story 5 with the song I Knew It, I Knew You.
