Adam Sandler is secretly quite the romantic it seems, judging by the advice he is reported to have given Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their wedding.
Details have been emerging about the event held at Madison Square Garden in NYC over the last few days, and one of the most surprising nuggets of information was the fact that The Wedding Singer star Sandler officiated proceedings.
One witness who was there spilled the beans about what went down, and apparently it was as 'crazy' and hilarious as you might expect from one of the comedy industry's biggest icons.
You don't expect a stuffy, serious ceremony if you've got Sandler at the helm.

One of the guests, a close friend of Travis Kelce, is Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
He is quoted as telling The Deseret News about the sweet advice that Sandler imparted to the newlyweds.
Reid said Sandler was 'crazy' but 'phenomenal' in his role, and said he did 'a great job;'.
Unsurprisingly, he confirmed the ceremony had 'a lot of humour'.
“Adam Sandler conducted the service there' he explained, saying he told the couple to 'keep kissing. In its simplest form. That’s a good thing,' he recalled.
“It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems," he continued.
Reid's wife Tammy, who he has been married to since 1981, said: "He does that!"

Sandler is definitely one to take romance advice from it seems, seeing as he has been married to his wife Jackie for 23 years after getting hitched in 2003.
The happy couple share daughters Sunny, 17, and Sadie, 20.
Sandler has previously raved about Kelce, after he appeared in Happy Gilmore 2, telling Entertainment Tonight: "Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with,” he said. “When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say."
According to People, he also said that his daughters 'love Taylor'.
We bet they were very excited about their dad's role in the wedding of the year.
An insider also told People that the couple's vows 'lasted 20 minutes' and 'they read them from gold books'. There were reported to have been around 1,000 guests invited, among them with celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Graham Norton, Ed Sheeran, Hugh Grant and Ethan Hawke.

Also spilling some ceremony details on Good Morning America was TV host George Stephanopoulos who said the wedding was “moving”.
Talking to co-hosts Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan just hours after it had finished, Stephanopoulos said the ceremony was “so beautiful”.
“It’s hard to imagine that a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal and intimate… as intimate as it could possibly be given it was Madison Square Garden,” he added.
Roberts said it had felt like “any wedding that you would attend”, and also confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed too.
“It was their dream wedding, and it really was amazing,” Strahan said.
“Congratulations to both of them.”
