Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may already be married if wild theory is correct

The internet seems to believe that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have already tied the knot ahead of their upcoming nuptials at Madison Square Garden.

The pop star is finally set to make an honest man of her football player fiancé on Friday (3 July), while celebrations are then set to spill into the weekend.

It's set to be an A-list extravaganza and the ten-hour schedule for it is reportedly jam-packed - but according to online theories, the happy couple might have already said their vows.

Swifties have been pedalling speculation that the 'Bad Blood' singer and Kelce have already got hitched after spotting a series of cryptic posts from vendors who were rumoured to be involved in the wedding.

The uploads which have sparked tons of speculation were shared after reports emerged claiming that Swift and her husband-to-be filed a permit to get streets surrounding Madison Square Garden shut down for a few days.

According to TMZ, they want the neighbouring streets to be cleared from Thursday (2 July) to Saturday (4 July), so that they can celebrate without interruption.

It is believed that Swift and Kelce will be using the prestigious venue as the location for their lavish wedding, which a whopping 1,200 guests are set to attend.

It has also been rumoured that stars such as Stevie Nicks, Tim McGraw and Paul McCartney will take to the stage and perform in honour of the bride and groom.

But we don't know much more than that, as those who have received an invitation have reportedly had to sign a non-disclosure agreements (NDA) which bar them from revealing any details about the pending nuptials.

However, some of the businesses who are said to be involved in Swift and Kelce's big day have been seemingly dropping some hints online.

There's been a lot of speculation that wedding designer Rishi Patel, who is the CEO of HMR Designs, is captaining the ship.

And in wake of what he uploaded to his Instagram earlier this week, fans think that he might have just inadvertently confirmed that the couple have already got married.

He wrote in the post shared on Monday (29 June), as per Page Six: "Today, I asked 23 of my colleagues if when they started in the event industry (span of 7 to 45 years)...they would have ever dreamed or imagined they would be part of what we created today…Unanimously the answer was no. That, in itself, means more than I can ever explain.

"I can’t wait to share what we created. But for now, I’m just eternally grateful for those who mean more to me than I could ever explain."

A source also told the publication that Patel's work was 'so Taylor coded', adding: "Rishi’s so high level and works with huge clients all the time, so for this to be such a huge deal..."

Adding more fuel to the fire, a businesswoman named Samantha Roberts then also shared a post which appeared to hint she's been helping Swift and Kelce out with getting down the aisle.

She owns a social media agency which boasts of how it offers 'strategic orchestration of wedding release rollouts, creating digital moments that ripple across the internet'.

In a social media post which also tagged notorious celebrity wedding planner Marcy Blum, Roberts wrote: "Tonight was a career highlight.

"15 years ago I came to New York because I loved events. I dreamed that one day I’d work events like the one I did tonight."

However, Blum then told Page Six that she was actually referring to a 'fabulous summer party' that they threw for 'his favourite client', rather than Swift and Kelce.

"We were working with our often and favourite collaborating crew," she said. "Rishi for design. Olivier Cheng catering. Allan Zepeda photos. And there was a lot of celebrity talent: Jerry Seinfeld, Knicks, Rockettes and Chris Martin."
