Taylor Swift might be forced to miss Super Bowl winner's parade

Taylor Swift might be forced to miss Super Bowl winner's parade

City officials may have warned Taylor Swift's team about attending the parade

It turns out that stardom could have some major setbacks to your love life.

When we think about celebs dating, usually it’s in back rooms or quiet corners in private settings so that they can be alone and away from prying paps.

But Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spotted numerous times in the limelight and at public events - more recently thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end and the Super Bowl hype.

Swift is a notorious supporter of those she cares about, so it’s no surprise that she’s been present for as many of Kelce's games as possible, despite being in the international section of her Eras Tour.

She even made it to the Super Bowl over the weekend to cheer on Kelce as his team took the victory, despite having been in Tokyo performing just the day before.

But no number of private jets and immaculate planning can stop the city officials from intervening.

I know, it sounds insane, but I kid you not.

Ahead of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade tomorrow on Valentine’s Day, the City Manager of Kansas City suggested that he’d told Taylor Swift’s team that if she was to attend, Kansas City couldn’t handle the surge in traffic caused by fans rushing to be at the same event as her.

KCUR reported that Platt said: “I can’t confirm or deny but we might have already told that to her team, just to keep everybody safe and make things a little bit easier for us.”

However, Swift’s tour is set to start back up again on Friday with a date lined up in Australia, so she probably wouldn't have been able to make it to the parade even if she wanted to.

Platt continued, expressing his concern for the volume of Swifties likely to attend: “That’s gonna be a whole second level of security issues that we have to deal with — the crowds and all that sort of thing.

“So we are more than ready. We have no concerns with our safety protocols and what we’re doing to make sure that the route will be free of any issues.”

KCUR also reported that Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas will have around 600 police officers working the parade, as well as emergency services and other law enforcement groups.

Whether she goes to the event or not, the pair has plenty of time and opportunity to celebrate

They even partied with Swift's parents which is the ultimate celebration experience.
