As the Super Bowl looms large, Turning Point USA has announced a halftime show of its own which promises to be 'all American'.
This weekend's American football fixture between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks is set to attract hundreds of millions of viewers from around the globe.
Although there will be plenty of fans sitting down on the sofa for the game, many will watch along for the iconic commercials and musical performances that come with it.
While watching a musician perform at halftime is somewhat of a foreign concept to any UK sports fan, who would no doubt hate the thought of seeing someone sing when they're 3-0 down at Burnley, it's a common sight over in the States.

And we've certainly had some memorable performances over the years, whether it was Kendrick Lamar calling out Drake in last year's show, or Lady Gaga's aerial acrobatics that was famously predicted by The Simpsons.
But Turning Point USA, the organisation founded by the late Charlie Kirk, seemingly wants to move away from tradition by airing a 'patriotic' alternative to this year's performance by Bad Bunny, who has already faced backlash after joking that Americans should learn Spanish before his upcoming show.
It seems as if Turning Point USA isn't too keen on the idea of the Puerto Rican rapper headlining the halftime show, and the non-profit organisation has instead launched its own lineup, which will celebrate 'faith, family and freedom'.

Given that 90,000 people gathered for Charlie Kirk's memorial service last year, with millions more tuning in online, the concert will probably draw in a fair few viewers.
But the Super Bowl is one of the most watched sporting events on the planet, with around 127 million people tuning in this time last year, so it's unlikely to trump it (if you'll pardon the pun), despite the petition which was launched to replace him.
In case Turning Point has piqued your interest and you're not a fan of the Grammy-winning Bad Bunny, you can expect performances from country music stars Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
Following Charlie Kirk's death, his widow, Erika, vowed that she would make Turning Point 'the biggest thing this nation has ever seen'.
Promising to uphold Kirk's legacy, she said: "They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God's merciful love.
"You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.
"They should all know this: If you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before you have no idea, you have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world, you have no idea."
