Boxing legend calls Tommy Fury vs KSI match 'one of the worst' fights he's ever seen

Carl Froch has absolutely ripped into the Tommy Fury vs KSI fight.

The two stars went head-to-head in Manchester over the weekend and it was a tightly contested bout.

Fury ended up getting the unanimous win after the three judges scored it 57-56, 57-56 and 57-56.

While some people might have enjoyed watching the Love Island runner-up and YouTuber bash each other for six rounds, it seems like Froch was not one of them.

The ex-professional British boxer took to his YouTube channel after the fight to give his assessment of what he just saw.

"The fight was absolutely f**king diabolical, it was crap, probably the worst fight I've ever seen," he said.

He added: "It's cringey to watch, Like, 'What are these two guys doing?' It's appalling.

"Everyone agrees how s**t it was.

"And then they've got the audacity at the end to have an argument.

"You've just had six rounds to hit each other, and you stood and held each other - now you wanna have a f**king argument?

"I don't think anybody should've won; it should've been a draw."

There certainly was a war of words after the fight was awarded to Fury.

KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams 'JJ' Olatunji, said it was a 'robbery' that he didn't win.

"How many jabs did he land? And he had a point taken off as well. You weren't landing. Look at your face, look at your eyes. Look at you," he said to Tommy.

Fury replied: "You're a sore loser. You're a bum. Back to YouTube."

KSI added: "How do I lose a six rounder? Unreal.

"He is the man who is meant to be a pro boxer and he won a majority decision? It's outrageous man. The amount of times he hit me in the back of the head. So many times. And the referee only took one point? He kept doing it over and over.

"I'm sorry, it's outrageous.

"We're going to appeal, I want to appeal. I felt like I won that."

Fury admitted that it wasn't his finest moment in the ring, but he said he put everything he could into the win.

"Was it my best performance? No absolutely not, but we knew it was going to be a stink fest, because one man didn't want to come to fight," Fury told IFL TV.

"Where I come from in the gyms and stuff, you stand there and have a fight. This guy was hopping up and down the ring and didn't want to engage, it was a scrappy affair.

"That was a horrible fight, I've not even watched it back and I'm not even sure I'm going to want to watch it back, because I was useless in there, but I still got the win."
