Today sees the release of a brand new party action game from the developers that created free-to-play mobile strategy game Clash of Clans, and they’ve enlisted the help of some A-list celebrities to show how good it is.

Games developer Supercell, known for their other mobile gaming hits Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, has taken it up a notch with its latest epic release, enlisting none other than Hollywood actors Chris Hemsworth, Christina Ricci, Ken Joeng, Will Arnett and Auli’i Cravalho to squad up for the hilariously funny promo video.

Taking on the personalities of characters from the mobile game, the troupe of actors rally their noble player from their bed by saying “Get up, the time for fun starts now!”

Jeong stars as the eccentric Chicken that wakes the gamer from his slumber, while Hemsworth features as the mighty Barbarian King, alongside Ricci’s dark presence as Witch, Arnett as friendly lumberjack Greg and Cravalho as the sweet, shotgun-wielding Shelly.

The gamer is joined by the characters throughout his day-to-day life through a series of comical scenes, including joining our player to a job interview, inside a toilet cubicle and also crammed inside a car producing a hilarious rendition of Nickleback hit ‘How You Remind Me’.

The epic ad also includes cameos from internet sensations including TikTok superstar Bella Poarch and YouTube extraordinaire ZHC as Chicken, featuring as another player’s squad.

The game, Squad Busters, has launched globally, giving players the chance to take part in badass 10-person multiplayer matches, building up - yep, you guessed it - their squads over the course of four-minute rounds. Compete against rival players to grab the most gems in this epic head-to-head battle for glory.

This new addition to the Supercell family is ideal for both casual players and those looking for a more intense, competitive game to sink their teeth into.

Squad Busters has already broken an industry record this week, becoming the fastest ever mobile game to reach 40 million pre-registrations. Ilkka Paananen, CEO of Supercell, said: “To mark this launch, our team wanted to create a show-stopping moment, so it felt fitting to have Hollywood icons face off against social media stars in a fun way, showing that life really is more fun when you’re with a squad!”

Squad Busters is available now to download with iOS and Android devices. Download the game here
