Following the premiere of Dead to Me season three on Netflix, viewers are praising Christina Applegate for her role as Jen Harding.
Some viewers are even calling for the 50-year-old to add to her four Emmy Awards as a result of her latest performance.
Dead to Me season three dropped on Netflix on Thursday (17 November), with a total of ten episodes for fans to watch.

In the final season, it goes full circle for Jen (Applegate) and Judy (played by Linda Cardellini), as a shocking crash alters the future of their friendship.
Alongside the pair, James Marsden, Max Jenkins, Sam McCarthy and Luke Roessler complete the casting line-up.
Creator Liz Feldman is once again an executive producer on the third season, alongside the likes of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
But it is Christina Applegate who is receiving the praise from viewers, with many taking to social media to ring the actor's plaudits.

For those not in the know, the actor was diagnosed with was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2021, halfway through production of the show's third and final season.
The lifelong condition affects the brain and the spinal cord and can cause a vast range of symptoms including problems with vision, difficulty walking, muscle spasms, and numbness, no doubt putting serious pressure on the show's leading lady.
But regardless of this pressure, Applegate insisted on continuing with production of the series and clearly, her talents haven't failed to deliver.

One fan said on Twitter: "Give Christina Applegate an Emmy, already. I’m 1 episode into Season 3 Dead to Me. She deserved it for the first 2 seasons, but what she went through to make this season, amazing actress!"
Another user agreed, saying: "Dear god I’m gonna get through this entire season of #DeadToMe tonight… it’s SO GOOD. Please give Christina Applegate an Emmy for this.
"It’s all so dark and heartfelt and hilarious. She and Linda Cardillini are a comedy duo to rival Lucy and Ethel."

And one fan even tweeted Applegate on Twitter directly, saying, "You were amazing we’re getting you that emmy."
As for wider critic reception, Dead to Me season three sits at a 70 percent on Rotten Tomatoes - though that is only with ten reviews so far.
TheWrap's review had a positive outlook, with it reading: "This is a season that goes out on a high from episode-to-episode when it comes to the comedic back and forth between the two, but the dramatic stuff is on a whole other level..."

But a review from indieWire had some criticism: "The stakes might be high for Jen and Judy, but they’re low, bordering on nonexistent, for Dead to Me, whose writers at least seem to enjoy a final shot at testing these characters and their audience’s stress limits," the review said.
