Riverdale star Cole Sprouse has shared how he lost his virginity at the tender age of 14, saying it was ‘cringey’ and ‘lasted about 20 seconds’.

While most of us would rather die than relive the embarrassing moment, Sprouse has given a tell-all interview about his childhood in the spotlight.

However, the actor’s honesty has come back to haunt him as many have criticised the 30-year-old for ‘humiliating’ his ex-girlfriend Lili Reinhart after he opened up about their relationship.

The pair began dating back in 2017 after meeting on the set of Riverdale, while they filmed the beloved Netflix series.

They split in 2020 and Sprouse revealed that he’d called time on their relationship during a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star told host Alex Cooper: “I think if I had loved myself a little more, I probably would have left [my relationship with Reinhart] a little earlier.”

During his appearance on the podcast, Sprouse also discussed how he lost his virginity at just 14 years old.

In a revealing moment, Sprouse said that he regretted his first time because he 'hadn’t made it special at all'.

Referring to his famous Disney haircut, he said: “I was 14 when I lost my virginity, so this is still bowl cut guy, right."

Setting the scene, Sprouse continued: "I was on a family trip in Florida, and I met this girl who was older, so that’s already dubious.

"The first night we kind of made out, the second night - this makes me nervous, it’s so cringey - I, like, knocked on her hotel door.

"I finally mustered up enough courage to deliver a line that my brother [Dylan Sprouse] has never, ever let down for me.

"I looked at her, and I was like, ‘So, are you like DTF?’ She goes, ‘What?’ And I go, ‘You know, down to f**k?’ I was 14."

After the girl responded, 'Sure', Sprouse texted his brother and a friend who was on the trip with them.

He explained that he ended up kicking his brother out of their hotel room in a blind panic because he was so nervous.

"We were all staying in the same hotel room because we were f**king 14. I was like, ‘Dude, you gotta get out of the room, man. I’ve got a girl coming over'," Sprouse said.

“We’re walking down the hall. I got my arm around this girl. I see my brother and Charlie.

"As we pass each other, my brother looks at me and goes, ‘What the f**k are we supposed to do?’ I looked at him, and I said another line that he’s never forgiven me for. I was like, ‘I dunno, go play chess or something.'”

Fans were not impressed by the actor's comments.

After admitting that he 'lasted about 20 seconds' and never saw his date again, Sprouse said: “It’s so cringey, but it’s incredible. I look back now, and it’s so funny.”

Though the actor seemed fairly nonchalant with reliving the intimate moment, his comments have left fans shocked.

One even took to Twitter and wrote: “Hearing Cole Sprouse’s losing his virginity story has got to be one of the most cringiest things I’ve ever heard. Some things just aren’t supposed to be shared LOOOL."

We totally agree.
