Couple Have 'Wedding Of Lifetime' After Waiting With Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck For Marriage Licence

A California couple had their special day made even more memorable after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez joined the queue with them for a marriage license. Have a look at the incredible moment below:

Anyone with internet access will probably know by now that the iconic couple known as 'Bennifer' tied the knot last weekend, but you probably won't know that Airika and Demetrius Visaya did too.

The couple started off their Saturday (16 July) with a fairly typical family occasion: celebrating their two-year-old son's birthday. They threw the young boy a Batman-themed party in Victorville, California, but that same day made the spontaneous decision to get married in Las Vegas.

Speaking to ABC7, the couple recalled how they were waiting in line for their marriage license when Affleck and Lopez walked in.

Demetrius said: "Airika turned around and looked at the door and she was like 'Oh my God. That's Ben Affleck and J. Lo'."

The bride said she 'instantly' recognised the pop star, and later described her day as 'the wedding of a LIFETIME' in a post on social media.

Airika wrote: "On July 16th 2022 I married the Love of My Life alongside @jlo and Ben Affleck!! Such a spontaneous and amazing story for our family!"

"We will always think of you two on our anniversaries, and are so happy to share it with you!!!," she continued.

Lopez herself acknowledged Airika and Demetrius' involvement in her special day in her On the JLo newsletter, in which she wrote: "Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville."

After getting their license, Lopez and Affleck eloped in a ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel later on Saturday evening.

Airika and Demetrius couldn't wait to tell their family about their unique experience, with Airika describing how 'everybody wanted to run back' to try and see JLo and Affleck as they tied the knot, saying: "I was like, we're gonna miss our wedding!"

JLo is said to have walked down the aisle to the tune of 'Here Comes the Bride' before she and Affleck exchanged self-written vows. After the singer shared the news with the world, Airika thanked her for 'mentioning [the couple] in her announcement to the world'.
