Creed III gets fans so hyped fight breaks out at cinema

Just because the famous people on the big screen hit each other it doesn't mean it's big or clever for you to do it

If a movie can get the audience to feel what the characters feel then it's done a good job, but Creed III might have been a little bit too successful after audience members started brawling during the credits.

That's what happened in one cinema in France, however, after two fans were caught on camera duking it out in the aisles while the end credits rolled.

The movie is leading star Michael B Jordan's directorial debut as he makes his third appearance as Adonis Creed in the Rocky successor series of films.

In the first movie he got his first big fight, while the sequel focused on his hyped showdown with Ivan Drago's son Viktor (Florian Munteanu) who is meant to starring in his own spin-off film at some point.

This time around Jordan's Creed is facing off against childhood friend Damian (Jonathan Majors) and the highly anticipated film has been performing strongly at the box office by getting enough bums in seats at the cinema.

Fans have been hyped to watch Creed III, some a little bit too much.

Unfortunately that has resulted in the scuffle which went viral on social media of two movie fans fighting it out once the film was over, though maybe that's a testament to how engaging it was that they parked their desire to throw hands until it was over.

Alright, before anyone goes thinking that going to watch Creed III in cinemas is going to lead to fights in the cinema, it turns out that this scuffle was apparently down to one of the people spending much of the movie on their phone.

There are all sorts of reasons why it's rude to spend most of your time in a cinema on your phone, as the noise will distract people and the bright, glaring screen in a darkened room is going to cause all sorts of light pollution which is bound to make people annoyed.

One person joked that Jordan had made such a good boxing movie that 'fights still happening even when the movie has ended', while another quipped 'is this Creed or Fight Club' and rather broke the first rule of that movie.

Once the end credits started rolling two people begun fighting in the cinema.

Someone else watching the footage of the fans fighting each other said it was 'how imma be after watching Creed', so you probably wouldn't want to be sat next to them in the cinema.

We should also take this opportunity to point out that just because the famous people from the movie make hitting each other look really cool, it doesn't make you cool for doing it.

Starring alongside Jordan and Majors in the movie is Tessa Thompson as Bianca, while Creed III is the first film in the Rocky continuity not to star Sylvester Stallone in some capacity.

Tony Bellew also returns as 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan, the boxer Adonis fought in the first Creed movie, while Canelo Alvarez also makes an appearance.

Creed III is in cinemas now, and please don't fight each other once the movie is over, or indeed at any time.
