Fans of Daisy Jones and the Six will be frothing today as the TV adaptation of the novel finally gets released on Prime Video today!

The upcoming miniseries will be based on The New York Times best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reed, and it takes place in the 1970s during the height of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

It follows a band emerging out of the LA music scene to become one of the most epic bands in the country, ultimately leading to a colossal band break up.

The official synopsis reads: "Based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, Daisy Jones & The Six is a limited musical-drama series detailing the rise and precipitous fall of a renowned rock band.

“In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two charismatic lead singers — Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne — the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they called it quits.

“Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers."

Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, will star in the titular role and will be joined by Camila Morrone as Camila Dunne (Never Goin' Back), Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne (Hunger Games) and Suki Waterhouse (Assassination Nation).

Another fan commented: “I’m going to be SO ANNOYING about this omg I can’t wait."

While another said: "To think that i've been waiting for this Daisy Jones & The Six adaptation since they announced it and the book single-handedly became my favourite ever since I read it almost four years ago and now I am just 24 hours away from getting everything I wanted."
