What Is Damian Lewis' Net Worth In 2022?

Damian Lewis has had an amazing acting career, but what is his net worth?

Prolific British actor Damian Lewis has recently become the apple of the public eye, as he announced he’ll be performing two live shows ahead the release of his debut album.

The 51 year old started to pursue his passion for music after he started dating musician Alisson Mosshart, following the death of his wife Helen McCroy last year.

However, despite his interest in music, Lewis is definitely better known for his phenomenal acting career.

His most famous works include the world famous TV series’, Billions, Homeland, and Band of Brothers.

Whilst he’s also taken major roles in blockbuster films such as Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

With such an illustrious career behind him, many are wondering how much the acting legend is now worth.

What Is Damian Lewis’ Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Damian Lewis has an impressive net worth of $25 million (£20.8 million).

This is hardly surprising given how successful he’s been as an actor.

For example his portrayal of Nicholas Brody in Homeland earned him both an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Furthermore, Lewis was earning around $250 000 per episode for playing Bobby Axelrod in the hit show Billions. He went on to do 60 episodes of the series from 2016 until 2021, so you do the maths…

With all this said, many want to know when and where Damian Lewis’ road to fame began?

Lewis attended Eton College where he became interested in acting at the age of 16, which led him on to graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1993.

After leaving drama school, Lewis was employed as a stage actor for the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing roles such as Posthumus in Shakespeare's "Cymbeline."

He was also doing acting on screen, with his debut role being in the English drama series "A Touch of Frost" back in 1993.

Lewis got his breakthrough role starring as Major Richard Winters in the renowned Second World War series, Band Of Brothers.

Director Steven Spielberg recruited Lewis for the miniseries after seeing his performance as Laertes in Jonathan Kent's production of "Hamlet".

Band of Brothers was his first role doing an American accent which would of course open plenty of doors for his future career.

Skipping forward to the present, Lewis is now pursuing his interest in music. The acting legend has had a passion for music since childhood, playing guitar since he was 12.

In a press conference when he confirmed he’d be performing on both the 4th and 7th of August, Lewis mentioned 'I’m looking forward to getting out there and playing the songs I’ve written and been recording for my debut album.’
