Olivia Wilde’s next film, Don’t Worry Darling, is a slow burn thriller complete with some of the most good-looking people in showbiz getting down and dirty. Wilde described it as the equivalent of “The Feminine Mystique on acid,” inspired by psycho-sexual spine-chillers like Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. The film tells the story of a 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community, as she begins to fret that his company, perfect as it may seem, is hiding disturbing private affairs.

Don’t Worry Darling is Wilde’s second turn as director following 2019’s entertaining high school comedy Booksmart.

Here are all the details on Don’t Worry Darling including release date, who’s in the cast, plus everything in between.

Don’t Worry Darling trailer:

The trailer is a blend of sexy and scary, and it’s got hearts racing as a result of both its psychological elements, and sex scenes. A shot of Styles’ character performing oral sex has gained especially significant attention.

Don’t Worry Darling’s reviews:

People are already predicting that Styles will get an Oscar for the film. Cinema Solace Tweeted that “Harry Styles could potentially be nominated for 2 Oscars in 2023” for both Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman, with a fan adding “If Harry Styles doesn’t receive an Oscar for My Policeman or Don’t Worry Darling, I’ll lose it.”
