Matt and Ross Duffer, aka. The Duffer Brothers, are American TV & Film writers, best known for creating the highly successful show Stranger Things.

So after creating one of Netflix’s flagship series, how much are the Duffer twins worth in 2022?

The Duffer Brothers Net Worth:

As of 2022, it is estimated that the brothers’ net worth stands at roughly $16 million.

Both Matt and Ross are said to earn roughly $1 million a year through their directing, writing and producing.

However, the majority of their riches do come from the popularity of their Netflix show, Stranger Things.

The identical twins were born in 1984 in North Carolina. Even from a young age the brothers were very close.

From as early as the third grade, they began to shoot films with a little Hi8 video camera and since then, their love for filmmaking has never wavered.

After the pair graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2007, they wasted no time in starting to produce movies.

They began their career creating short films such as We All Fall Down (2005) and The Milkman (2008).

Soon after, they wrote and directed their first feature film for Warner Bros, Hidden (2015).

They then gained recognition working on the Fox TV series Wayward Pines, which landed them the opportunity to move on to creating Stranger Things.

Over their career, the twins have been nominated for Primetime Emmys as well as winning many other accolades such as the People Choice Award and the American Film Institute Award in both 2016 and 2017.

Alongside these, they have won many other prestigious awards, and at only 38 years of age, it is safe to say that they still have many years of filmmaking ahead of them.

Currently, the pair live in the same neighbourhood in Los Angeles, with their partners. Looking towards the future, Stranger Things seems to be the only thing on their immediate agenda, with a fifth season looking very likely to be produced.
