Ant And Dec Reckon There Could Be An 'SM:TV' Reunion Show

Amazing news.

SM:TV Live was essential viewing for any 90s kid growing up in the UK.

The holy trinity of Ant, Dec and Cat Deeley was the best way to spend a Saturday morning and the kids of today really don't know what they're missing (although, they do have Netflix, so don't feel too bad for them).

Well, it's time to get excited, because as the 20th anniversary (feel old yet?) approaches Ant and Dec have told Metro that a special one-off show isn't totally out of the question. Just think, one more chance to see C.H.U.M.S, Challenge Ant, and best of all, Wonky Donkey.

In the interview with Metro, the Geordie duo were asked about the chance of a revival, with Ant saying: "It's funny because we were talking to somebody about this recently because it's twenty years since the launch of SM:TV next year.

"So, we were saying whether we could do an anniversary special or something, and we got carried away with the idea.

"If we did a one off, it would be on at 9.25am, with C.H.U.M.S and all that, and get Cat back!"

If that isn't enough Dec then added: "We're floating it about a few people at the moment, and we're getting some positive responses so far."

IT'S GOT TO RHYME!

One thing I've learnt re-watching old clips of Wonky Donkey (it was for work, okay?) is just how savage Dec was.

Dec would act like he was personally insulted when a kid would get the answer wrong, which was often.

In the example above the answer should have been 'twee bee'. Now, I doubt most kids would know the word twee, but that didn't stop Dec from savaging them. Although in his defence there is only so many times you can hear 'beautiful bee' before you crack.

Poor Heather really gets an earful. "Fluffy bee? For goodness sake!"

The poor kid was probably crying when she put the phone down. It was TV gold, though, nonetheless.

Bring it back, now.
