Top Gear host Chris Evans is to be questioned by police over historical sexual assault allegations.

According to The Sun, the 50-year-old will be quizzed by London's Metropolitan Police in the next few days over the complaint which was made by a former colleague.

The claims come just two months after he was accused of flashing a female colleague 'almost every day for two years'.

Speaking in an interview with The Sun on Sunday earlier this year, she said: "He might have thought what he was doing was amusing, but like a lot of bullies he cloaked it in a joke."

The anonymous woman said she was speaking out to prevent others becoming victims of Evans' 'bullying behaviour'.

However, the presenter hit back at the allegations and claimed they were part of a 'witch hunt' against him.
