The Peaky Blinders cast are certainly enjoying a good chunk of the limelight at the moment, thanks to all the excitement for the show's fifth season, which kicked off this evening.

But it turns out even stars of one of the hottest TV shows right now like to keep it real, as actor Harry Kirton admits he's still working part-time in a vegan café.

Kirton, who plays Finn Shelby, has been on the show since he was just 13. Now a household name, you'd probably forgive him for wanting to kick back a little and enjoy the fame that he's recently found.

However, the actor is adamant that he wants to stay grounded amid all the Peaky Blinders buzz, and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty doing so.

Speaking to the Metro, he said: "I still do part-time work, you know, I like to keep in sync with the world that we live in because acting is a very... you know, you're pretending a lot and your headspace is in this area and that.

"At the end of the day we've all got to pay rent and we've all got to do real things.

"I have a lot of passions that aren't just acting. I like to write, I'm vegan, I'm working at a vegan cafe because I love what they're doing. I want to eat good food, and I want to talk to people."

Kirton also explained his dad helps keep him 'in check', just to make sure the fame doesn't go to his head just yet - which is good news, as hype is about to build once again with the arrival of season five.

While we don't know exactly what's in store for Finn this time round, we do know that the next instalment will see Cillian Murphy's volatile volatile patriarch Tommy Shelby on a road to redemption.

The BBC's official season five synopsis offers: "Series five of Steven Knight's crime family saga finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929. Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere.

"When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realises that his response will affect not just his family's future but that of the entire nation."

Peaky Blinders returns tomorrow at 9.30pm on BBC One, before continuing on Sundays at 9pm.
