The first trailer for a new film being compared to Knives Out has been released by Netflix.

Many films have tried to replicate the success of Knives Out since the Daniel Craig led film came out in 2019.

This spawned a sequel brought to Netflix which starred Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, and Ed Norton, and a third film is set to release later this year.

Netflix's newest murder mystery film shares with the Knives Out film having an absolutely stacked cast, sure to bring in viewers just on star-power alone.

Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are the most notable names, however are joined in the cast by Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, and David Tennant.

Check out the trailer below:

The film in question is called Thursday Murder Club and is based on the best selling book series by Richard Osman.

One comment on the trailer on YouTube specifically noted how much it felt like Knives Out, saying: "same knives out vibes with editing, music everything, cannot wait!"
