School of Rock came out over 23 years ago and so, unsurprisingly, the cast of child actors from the cult classic are now adults with totally different careers, some of whom even got married to each other after meeting on set.
The Jack Black film’s child cast have all stayed in close contact over the years compared to many other child actor casts who drift much further than the School of Rock crew have.
More or less the entire group of child stars reunited last year when the actors for Marta and Frankie from the film tied the knot, though one cast member was missing after tragically passing away in 2021.
Now, the cast have once again reunited for a TikTok video in which several members of the cast have returned to a music studio to record a new version of their iconic diss track You’re Tacky and I Hate You, reuniting again almost a quarter century on from the film.

The video, which features several of the key members of the original cast, also features a heartwarming tribute to Kevin Clark, who played the drummer Freddy in the film and died in a car accident.
Here is where the entire child cast are now (because you don’t need anyone telling you what Jack Black is up to these days).
Miranda Cosgrove – Summer/Tattletale

Miranda Cosgrove is easily the biggest acting success of the actors from the movie and one of the only core members of the child cast to not appear in the TikTok of the actors reuniting.
Cosgrove went on to star in iCarly, Drake and Josh, Despicable Me, and called the experience of filming the movie ‘one of the coolest’ in an interview with Metro on the film’s 20th anniversary.
She said: “We filmed that movie for five months in New York when I was nine and it was my first real experience getting to act and be on a set.
“It’s something I will treasure for the rest of my life and getting to know all of those people and have them in my life for so long.”
Robert Tsai – Lawrence/Mr Cool

Tsai and much of the cast did not have much acting experience before the film, with director Richard Linklater prioritising actual child musicians.
The young child star was an accomplished pianist, but School of Rock is his only acting credit in his career, though he reunited with his fellow castmates for the TikTok where he plays the piano.
Tsai stayed in the musical world however, studying at Dartmouth College and going on to become a live concert pianist.
Caitlin Hale – Marta/Blondie

Hale and fellow cast member Angelo Massagli tied the knot in 2025 after beginning dating in 2016.
The pair lost touch for years before reconnecting when Hale put in a School of Rock group chat that she had moved to Florida where Massagli lived.
Most of the child cast reunited at the wedding, with Jack Black sending a video message, and they even had a group dance to Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks at the wedding.
Hale later became a sonographer, having barely acted outside of School of Rock and a few episodes of Blues Clues, but also according to her Instagram now works as a realtor in New Jersey.
Angelo Massagli – Frankie/Tough Guy

Massagli similarly has left Hollywood. Before this though he appeared in The Sopranos (if you’re as good a child actor as he was with the name ‘Angelo Massagli’ in the 00s it should come as no surprise he was on the show) playing the son of Bobby Bacala.
He also appeared in Stuart Little 2 but ultimately left Hollywood to pursue a legal career.
Speaking to Insider in 2021 when it became public the pair were dating: "We have a group chat where all the School of Rock kids, we just hit each other up whenever someone moves somewhere new or is doing something different. So Caitlin is like, hey, I'm moving down to Florida.”
The pair started as friends but became closer after ‘grabbing dinners and going out for the weekends’, with Massagli telling the New York Times he felt ‘something’s brewing here’.
Rivkah Reyes – Katie/Posh Spice

Rivkah, who now uses she/they pronouns, has revealed that they were bullied in school and felt under intense pressure to continue their career in acting after School of Rock.
They also struggled with substance abuse but are now sober, however more recently made headlines for taking up a career as an adult performer.
The adult star appeared in the TikTok video, posted by Brian Falduto, where she played the bass.
They made a sad admission earlier this year on their own TikTok though, claiming that their adult content career does so well in part due to her being a child star, saying: “Anyway would LOVE for ya’ll to support and check out my music so that I can quit doing the other thing.”
Rivkah also releases ‘sad grunge’ indie music.
Maryam Hassan – Tomika/Turkey Sub

Also appearing in the TikTok is Maryam, the actor who played Tomika. She never acted again but has continued a music career, releasing R&B music, and is the co-owner of a marketing firm. She has also recently announced a makeup bookings page.
Speaking to Vulture about being cast in the role, she said: ‘They were looking for an overweight singer around my age. I was a chubby little girl. Specifically, they needed someone who had range to sing Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle. I’m an old soul who grew up singing songs by those women.
“I got to sing. That’s my expertise and that’s what I’d been working towards. I fell into acting, but I was born to sing. It was interesting because after we did the takes for the scene [in which she sings Chain of Fools] and finished up, some crew members were quietly stirring in the background and whispering, 'Wow, that was really great. Did you hear that voice?' It was like there was a small audience cheering me on."
Brian Falduto – Billy/Fancy Pants

Brian played the young character of Billy who didn’t sing but actually styled the band, which makes it all the more ironic he went on to become a singer himself.
He came out in 2003 with the iconically named album Gay Country after receiving stick for the character’s flamboyance. He released an updated version of You’re Tacky and I Hate You featuring vocals from Jack Black, bringing the original cast back together to also contribute.
School of Rock fans were left emotional however at Falduto’s heartbreaking tribute to Kevin Clark.
Kevin Clark – Freddy

Clark died in 2021 in a road collision when he was hit by a car whilst riding his bicycle.
The cast paid tribute to him at Angelo and Caitlin’s wedding and now Brian has paid tribute to the late drummer by dedicating the song to him.
“Obviously, there was no reuniting the OG School of Rock band without its OG, badass, ‘stick-it-to-the-man’ drummer. But we did our best to make him proud. This project is & always will be dedicated to him... Rest in peace, Kev.”
He worked in several bands, with Jack Black paying tribute after his death saying: “Devastating news. Kevin is gone. Way too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken. Sending love to his family and the whole School of Rock community.”
Joey Gaydos – Zack/Zack-Attack

The last member of the group to appear in the video of the reunion was Joey Gaydos who played ‘Zack-Attack’.
Gaydos has released multiple albums of ‘genre-fluid solo music’.
