The parent company behind Rockstar Games has announced when fans can expect their next big GTA 6 update, and it's sooner than you might think.
Take-Two hosts a big update every quarter, speaking to shareholders and stakeholders about earnings and the performance of the company in a bid to drive investment.
With GTA 6 currently sitting as the biggest and most expensive project on the video game holding company's books, the eagerly anticipated title is expected to take centre stage during the update.
Since GTA 6's first trailer was released in December 2023, the video game has been mentioned in every quarterly call.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 6 November at 9.30pm UK time (4.30pm Eastern Time / 1.30pm Pacific Time).

While many fans will be waiting for an excitement update six months before the title is set for release, others are worried the update could be used to announce further delays.
Earlier this year, both Rockstar and Take-Two bosses doubled down on the May 2026 release date, but there has been a lot of chatter among industry experts and insiders who claim otherwise.
Insider Gaming editor Tom Henderson suggested the publishers will confirm the release date this year, but will announce a delay in February next year.

While this is just hearsay at this point, the industry insider has correctly predicted GTA 6 delays in the past.
Meanwhile, insiders recently suggested that Rockstar was preparing to reveal Project ROME soon, which is expected to change the landscape of gaming forever.
"Rockstar Games is reportedly preparing to reveal Project ROME (Rockstar Online Modding Engine) soon," @GTAVI_Countdown wrote last month.
"It aims to make GTA 6 the next big metaverse and transform it into a platform not just a game, allowing players to create their own custom experiences."

Elsewhere, eagle-eyed fans have been expecting some big reveal in November after noticing just how much Game Informer has been hyping up its next issue.
The suggestion came from @GameRoll_ on X, who made an interesting observation about the publication's previous insider knowledge on the world of GTA.
"In November 2012, after GTA 5 got its second trailer and was still scheduled to come out in the Spring, Game Informer was given a look at GTA 5 and dropped an exclusive issue about the game," they wrote.
"And as you can see in this screenshot, they’re now quite considerably hyping up their November 2025 issue.

"This is almost certainly a gigantic reach but maybe, could it be that history will repeat itself and Rockstar will work with them again to share exclusive details about GTA 6? Possibly following Trailer 3? November is currently the most likely time frame for new information after all."
