Gamers looking to upgrade their console to the Xbox Series S can currently benefit from a rare discount if they shop via Amazon.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday has officially ended, but that doesn’t mean the savings have to stop.

Right now, Xbox users can snap up a 2024 Xbox Series S with 512GB of storage for £269.99.

That’s equivalent to 10 percent off the usual asking price, and while it's not a huge amount off, it's a rare opportunity to save some cash on the popular console which is still full price on the official XBox website.

Need more room to download Fortnite, The Outer Worlds 2, Fallout 76, and the Assassins Creed Saga?

A 1TB Xbox Series S is also discounted from £349.99 to £329.99.

It’s not exactly known when this Cyber Monday-inspired deal will come to an end, so it’s worth pulling the trigger on the deal sooner rather than later, especially if you’re planning on purchasing as a Christmas present.

Xbox Series S discount

  • The Xbox Series S 512GB was £299.99. It has been reduced by 10 percent, making it £269.99.
  • The Xbox Series S 1TB was £349.99. It has been reduced by six percent, making it £329.99.

When does the Xbox Series S discount expire?

Because the price crunch has come after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we don’t currently know when the savings will end.

You can purchase both the 512GB and 1TB Xbox Series S via Amazon right now, with Prime customers also benefiting from One-Day delivery.

What shoppers say about the Xbox Series S

More than 2,000 Amazon users have purchased the 512GB version of the Xbox Series S in the past month, while 1,000 more have picked up the 1TB.

“I received my Xbox Series S this afternoon, and I absolutely love this console, it's a little powerful beast, quick resume is a game changer also, and the games look and run beautifully..well [worth] the money, and it's so easy to set up, a few minutes,” commented one fan.

A second gushed: “Amazing quality and it's so quiet. Love playing games on it glad I got it.”

Someone else commented: “Bought this for my gaming mad son, was torn before purchasing about the 1Tb, but to be honest this 512gb is perfectly acceptable - no lag.

“Adequate storage even for the largest of games (Flight Simulator) and no affect on speed at which is runs, also great you can purchase a gaming pass for access to more games - saves you buying the games for them to be out of date months later.”

As well as a wealth of positive reviews, the 512GB Xbox Series S has a solid 4.6-star rating, while the 1TB courts a slightly-higher 4.7 out of five stars.
