It's not every day that an actor gets punched in the face by one of their co-stars on set. But it's exactly what happened between Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling back in 2017.
The pair were filming Blade Runner 2049 when the punch occurred - and in an unearthed interview, Ford has a pretty unsympathetic explanation for how it all came about. You can watch the clip below:
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Ford and Gosling were asked about the punch, and Ford's reaction is pretty hilarious.

"Oh I misread the script," joked Ford.
"No, we were doing a scene in flashing strobe lights, he's walking backwards, I'm walking forwards, you have to make it look like the punch was intended, but I hit him. One out of 100 times I hit him."

Gosling added: "I should be lucky I didn't get hit more is the theme of this, it's not just a punch though a Harrison Ford punch is a different animal altogether."
Ford intercepted: "It was not a good punch," to which Gosling added: "I'll be the judge of that."
Ford also told GQ Magazine at the time: “Ryan Gosling’s face was where it should not have been.

“His job was to be out of the range of the punch. My job was also to make sure that I pulled the punch. But we were moving, and the camera was moving, so I had to be aware of the angle to the camera to make the punch look good.
“You know, I threw about a hundred punches in the shooting of it, and I only hit him once."
Meanwhile Gosling added in his own interview: “You know, they say don’t meet your heroes, but I would say the addendum to that is ‘…unless they’re Harrison Ford.’ ‘Cause he’s a cool motherf**ker.”
On Thursday (1 December) the first trailer for Ford's new film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was finally released.
