Fans are warning viewers not to watch a particular episode of House of the Dragon with their parents over some fairly cringe-worthy sex scenes.

It's always a little awkward watching adult scenes with your parents, but the latest House of the Dragon really took the cake for one of the most uncomfortable shows to endure with your 'rents.

The newest episode is leaving fans mortified after watching with parents.

The episode in question, titled King of the Narrow Sea, gave the Targaryen tree a whole new type of family dynamic.

The scene goes a little south when Rhaenyra Targaryen, played by Milly Alcock, leaves the palace and is taken on a tour around Downtown King’s Landing by a mysterious, cloaked figure.

Unknowingly to Rhaenyra, the figure is none other than her uncle Daemon, played by Doctor Who's Matt Smith.

After a night of painting the town red, the niece and uncle duo stumble their way into one of Daemon's frequented brothels.

The episode shows the incestuous interactions between a niece and her uncle.

As the sexual tension reaches a climax, the pair start kissing and stripping down and just as Rhaenyra has her trousers down - Daemon has a sudden epiphany and halts himself from following through with the act, bolting immediately after.

Clearly following suit with the pervasive incest present in Game of Thrones, many fans were quick to warn others about any potential parental viewing.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer sent out a provisional warning to fans who had not yet seen the racy episode: "If you’re watching this episode of House of the Dragon with your parents then I’m so sorry."

Another sent 'thoughts and prayers' to anyone who unfortunately, and unknowingly, embarked on the episode with their parents: "Thoughts and prayers to everyone who’s watching this episode of House of the Dragon with their parents. I know y’all in hell right now."

While it was too late for this Twitter user, they too wanted to share the warning to fellow House of the Dragon fans: "Made the mistake of watching House of the Dragon with my parents."

Another Twitter user who suffered the same fate wrote: "Yes, watching this week's episode of House of the Dragon with my parents was not awkward at all."

Luckily, one fan got the memo earlier than others and declared: "I’m not watching this new house of the dragon episode with my parents. I am NOT watching THAT scene with them I would rather die."

King of the Narrow Sea stands as the fourth episode in the drama series, which first hit our screens 21 August 2022.
