Jennifer Aniston wants people to stop using backhanded compliment she always receives

Despite being one of the world's most beautiful women, Jennifer Aniston says she always receives an annoying backhanded compliment

As an A-Lister, Jennifer Aniston has received her fair share of compliments over the years.

However, the actor has recently revealed that there is one which she 'can't stand'.

This hasn’t stopped fans from lavishing praise on the Friends star after she appeared in a new ad campaign.

It’s after the 54-year-old debuted her new locks on Instagram, trading in her signature blonde for a more salt-and-pepper look.

The advert was for her brand LolaVie, which was established in 2021, with the actor explaining how to use the new intensive hair repair treatment.

Sharing the short clip with her 42 million followers, Aniston has been praised for showing off her grey roots off with her half-updo.

Fans flocked to the comments with compliments for the star, with one user writing: “Jen your hair is just a masterpiece and everybody agrees.”

Another added: "Well done for allowing grey to come through - refreshing."

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “So nice to see. And she's obviously still gorgeous."

While the actor had no qualms about accepting the admiration from her fans, there’s one compliment that understandably annoys her.

In her latest interview with Vogue, she revealed that she 'can't stand' being told she looks good for her age - at just 54!

“It drives me bananas; I can’t stand it,” she confessed.

Though you can’t deny the Aniston looks incredible, it’s surprising that people repeatedly want to define her by her age rather than her many amazing roles in film and TV.

Continuing, she said: “That’s a habit of society that we have these markers like, 'Well, you’re at that stage, so for your age…' I don’t even understand what it means.”

While discussing her supposed ‘longevity’, Aniston later revealed that she felt better than she had done as a young woman.

In one candid moment, she admitted: “I’m in better shape than I was in my 20s; I feel better in mind, body, and spirit. It’s all 100% better.”

Aniston added that she wants to thrive as she continues to age, telling Vogue: “My family lives a long time, especially my dad’s side - I want to be thriving; I don’t want to just be alive.”

You tell ‘em Jen!
