Jennifer Aniston in pure disbelief after realising how old the Sprouse twins are now

The 54-year-old actor was in total shock as she learned how old her former Friends co-star was now

Jennifer Aniston was left in shock after finding out how old the Sprouse twins are now.

The actor was in utter disbelief as she chatted about her now grown-up co-stars at a junket for her new film, Murder Mystery 2.

However, she wasn't the only one in the new Netflix comedy who has worked with the former child stars.

In fact, her co-star Adam Sandler worked with Dylan and Cole Sprouse on their first feature film, Big Daddy, back in 1999.

At the time, the brothers were just seven when they landed the role of Julian 'Frankenstien' McGrath in the classic comedy about a man (Sandler) who adopts a five-year-old in a desperate bid to win over his ex-girlfriend.

Just a year later, Cole would gain a recurring role as Ross Geller’s son, Ben, on the hit NBC sitcom Friends with Aniston.

During an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Cole even admitted to having a crush on Aniston as a child and said it was ‘quite difficult’ to work with her afterwards.

"I was teased a little bit by the crew, because they saw it. I would just forget, and be looking at her," he confessed, adding: "But then, the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston."

Despite this, Aniston was unaware of her young admirer for years and was recently surprised to learn how old the former child star was now.

During an interview with Access, Aniston and Sandler were shocked to learn that the twins had turned 30 last year.

“What?” both stars shouted, when they were told the news.

Aniston was in total disbelief, adding: "No, no they're not!"

The actors had been in their thirties when they first worked with the Sprouse twins and Sandler, 56, even joked that he’d broken the children in for Aniston.

“I knew what they were capable of!” he quipped, adding: “I set the table for the kids to hop on Friends. That was one thing that Jen said when I first met her. 'Will you please break in the children for us?'"

As the conversation continued, Aniston also talked about Cole's crush on her and was confused by how this was possible given how young he was.

“But he was so little!" said the perplexed star.

Well, we totally understand why - we love you Jen!
