The actor was seen taking pictures with fans while on tour with musician Jeff Beck after the pair played a show in New York.
However, Depp was looking very different from usual as he revealed his brand-new look.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star is now rocking a clean-shaven look, which has caught many fans off guard.
As expected, fans have taken to social media to discuss Depp's new look.
One TikTok video in particular shows footage of Depp posing for pictures with fans, and one fan filming him as he gets close.
The fan describes Depp as the best actor of all-time as Depp awkwardly thanks him.
Other fans of the actor used the comment section on the TikTok to give their thoughts.
One said: "Why are people saying this is not him ? God forbid a man is ageing .. very gracefully I may say ! He looks so handsome here."
A second added: "Looks more like Jonny Vegas than Jonny Depp."
A third said: "So obviously not him."
Another added: "I worked on set with Johnny a foot apart not him and where are his tats on arm hands hair wrong colour too."
Despite many questioning if the man in the footage was someone completely different, the content creator reiterated it was indeed Depp.
They said: "are u guys living under a rock? this is johnny depp. just because he doesn’t look the same from a couple years ago doesn’t mean it’s not him [sic]."
Depp's new look comes just months after his famous defamation trial against Amber Heard. The trial concluded on 1 June, with the jury ruling in Depp's favour.
As a result, he was awarded $10 million of the $50 million he sought in damages. Heard won one of her counter claims and was given $2 million.
The trial became so infamous that a new film was released that following Heard's and Depp's turbulent relationship both in and out of court.

On IMDb, the film sits at a 2.9/10 rating, with it facing heaving criticism across the board.
