Kerry Katona has a surprising link to Canadian rapper Drake through her late pal David Gest.

Katona said the record producer and TV personality was ‘like a brother’ to her and that she misses him ‘every day’ since he passed away in 2016.

During an interview with the Daily Star, the former Atomic Kitten star said she met Drake’s dad through Gest and even spent the night singing karaoke with him.

She said: “It was through David that I met Dennis Graham, probably. Better known as Drake’s dad. Yep, that Drake.

"He’s another great guy and we once spent an evening doing karaoke together.”

She said the pair sang numerous songs throughout the night and have stayed in touch since.

Katona added: “We belted out a mean version of 'Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay'. Even now, we’re in touch.

"He messaged me on Instagram recently and we had a good laugh remembering David.”

Earlier this year, Katona revealed she’d become a millionaire again thanks to joining OnlyFans.

Katona was officially declared bankrupt in 2008 and again in 2013. Her work dried up again during the pandemic, as it did for many.

She took action and borrowed £50 from her mum to set up her OnlyFans, where fans pay a subscription fee of £18 a month.

She told The Mirror: "I just send sexy messages and pictures, but nothing more than topless.

"I've had loads of requests for foot selfies from people with foot fetishes.

"Some are men and women texting me their sex issues and I'm like a therapist for them - their fantasy.

"Others aren't crude at all. They'll see me on TV and say, 'you're smashing it, kid! What have you been up to today?'

"I've got a great rapport with my fellas. Others say, 'Kerry you've really helped me through my addiction' or 'I used to fancy you from Atomic Kitten days'."

Katona said the work isn't too dissimilar to when she made her break as a Page Three model.

She said: "I started out as a Page Three model and owe my career to that, so it's no different for me or the children, who have grown up seeing me doing shoots.

"People are quick to say, 'she's desperate' if I get out a bit of nipple, but I've made my first million since bankruptcy and I'm so, so proud.

"If it wasn't for OnlyFans I wouldn't have had money to invest in myself and in making more companies."
