Kit Harington refuses to deny Game of Throne rumours he could reprise Jon Snow role

Kit Harington refuses to deny Game of Throne rumours he could reprise Jon Snow role

So... is that a yes?

Kit Harington sat down with Jimmy Fallon to discuss his upcoming movie Baby Ruby, but fans were far more excited to hear about Game of Thrones.

When asked about rumours that he’s set to reprise his iconic role as Jon Snow, he didn’t confirm the news - but he certainly didn’t deny it either.

Although we’ve already enjoyed season one of the GoT prequel, House of the Dragon, entertainment sources have suggested there could be a new series based entirely on Harington's character.

On the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the talk show host addresses the hearsay, asking: “Is it happening?”

After smirking, Harington shrugs and pulls a face as if to say, ‘Who knows?’

He then tells Fallon: "I don't know, do you, er... do you want to have it?" Of course he does.

The actor later adds: "Yeah, I can't say anything on that but I don't know, man..."

If we were to go off body language alone, this could suggest the show is going ahead - but alas, we can't be certain for now and will have to wait patiently for confirmation.

The Jon Snow spinoff series is yet to receive an official confirmation.

One thing we do know is that Harington misses his character, not least because he doesn't get recognised on the street like he once did.

Elaborating on this, he jokes: "I walk down the street and I get recognised a little less nowadays... And it kind of hurts my ego, you know?

"I'm pretty close to like putting on some furs."

Fallon joins in on the banter, asking him: "So what would it take for you to do this spinoff series? Do you want us to ignore you?"

To which Harrington responds: "I've got a tally in my head of how few photos I get asked for in a day. And when it gets below a certain number, I think I'll do the spinoff."

So there you have it, Jon Snow fans - if you happen to see Harington pass you on the street, don't go asking for a selfie if you want the show to go forward.

Joking aside, the 36-year-old star also had another piece of exciting news to share earlier on in the interview - that he and his wife, fellow GoT star Rose Leslie, are expecting another baby.

The pair officially tied the knot back in 2018 after meeting on the show, and since then they've welcomed a son into the world.

Revealing that Leslie's pregnant once more, Harington said: "He [their son] is about to get the shock of his life, which is that he's about to get a brother or sister."

He opened up about the differences between the first and second child, adding: "You know with the first baby, you're like, walking on clouds and dancing through fields and daisies for nine months?

"Well, the man is anyway.

"This time, the reality check comes much shorter and you get practical, like, real quick."

Guess all we can say is congratulations to the happy couple - and fingers crossed we get to hear more about this potential spinoff sometime soon.
