KSI and Logan Paul haven’t made any money from Prime energy drink

The statement arrives after KSI alleged that people are selling the drink on the black market for profit

KSI has revealed that Prime Hydration, the energy drink business he set up with rival-turned-friend Logan Paul, hasn't made any money.

For those not in the know, the YouTuber duo had a long-running feud after battling each other in the boxing ring.

But earlier this year, the pair did a complete U-turn by announcing that they'd put their differences aside to bring out the drinks company together.

The product itself is a sports drink which comes in a variety of flavours, with zero added sugar, 10 percent coconut water and other added functionals such as BCAAs, electrolytes and antioxidants.

With both KSI and Logan being such big names in the online world, it's no surprise that the drink - which costs £2 a pop - has become somewhat of a viral craze.

Footage has emerged showing youngsters rushing to supermarkets to get their fix, with some shops being forced to impose a limit on the number they are allowed to purchase in one go.

Another photo appears to show that some places have added security tags to the bottles.

The energy drink has become somewhat of a viral craze, resulting in some supermarkets putting security tags on the bottles.

But despite its clear success with buyers, KSI - real name Olajide Olayinka Williams 'JJ' Olatunji - has said they haven't made any money.

The 29-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer shared a screenshot on Twitter showing a listing for his Prime Hydration drinks on eBay - but rather than £2 they're selling for £14.95.

Alongside the image, he wrote: "This annoys me so much. We’re trying so hard to increase the supply as much as possible to try and combat the black market selling.

"Me and Logan ain’t made any money from Prime. It’s all going back into the business to increase the supply. We’re trying people."

KSI has revealed neither he or Logan Paul have made any money from Prime.

In a recent episode of The Fellas podcast, KSI answered the fans who have asked why Prime never seems to be available, claiming that ASDA employees have been selling them on the black market for profit.

"It's always sold out, man," he said. "Honestly, people are selling it on the black market.

"I s**t you not, the only place you're meant to get Prime is Asda and Arsenal stadium. But people are getting it at petrol stations."

The YouTuber then went as far as to suggest that ASDA employees aren't even putting the drink on the shelves because they want the opportunity to profit themselves.

"Asda employees aren't even f***ing putting it on the shelves anymore," he said. "They're shipping it out lowkey.

KSI has blamed a shortage of his energy drink on supermarket workers.

"They're like, 'What's the point, I put it on the shelf and it’s gone instantly. F**k it, I'm just going to sell it on the black market myself.'"

KSI added: "That's what they're doing, bro, and then people are making p's from it because you can't get it anywhere. It's not like we're not supplying enough, we're supplying loads."

Earlier this week, a spokesperson for ASDA explained to LADbible in a comment: "It is a very popular product and we are receiving regular deliveries to stores which are stocking it," although they did not comment on KSI's allegations.
