Amber Heard 'Never Really Loved' Elon Musk And Was Simply 'Filling Space' When They Dated

A text exchange between Heard and Christian Carino was read out in court revealing the actress wasn't completely invested in Musk.

Amber Heard admitted to never really loving her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk in text messages read out in testimony for Johnny Depp’s defamation case against her.

Not long after Amber Heard split from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, she moved on to dating the current richest man in the world, Elon Musk.

Depp and Heard’s former talent agent Christian Carino testified in the $50 million defamation trial through a prerecorded deposition.

A message exchange from August 2017 was read out between Carino and Heard following the news of the actress and Musk’s break-up going public.

In one message, Heard says: “Dealing with breakup. I hate when things go public. C, I’m so sad.”

He replied: “You weren’t in love with him, and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”

When asked to explain what he meant, Carino said: “I’m saying, why would you be sad if you weren’t in love with him, to begin with?”

Heard replied: “I know, but I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time.”

The pair started dating after Heard’s divorce from Depp and Musk’s divorce from then-wife Talulah Riley was finalised in 2016.

The exact timings of when the pair got together are murky, however, Depp’s legal team has suggested Heard had cheated on Depp with Musk.

Employees of the building in which Depp and Heard lived also claimed the billionaire had often visited Heard.

However, in August 2017, rumours began to swirl that the pair’s year-long relationship had come to an end.

Musk confirmed the speculation, saying: “Btw, just to clear up some of the press storms this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another.”

He later added: “Long-distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds.”

In the message exchanges, Carino seemingly called out Heard’s complaints about the breakup being public.

Heard said: "Yet again another man lets me fall on the spikes by myself.

"They get mad for leaving me and put things like this out there."

Carino responded: "You can avoid this by not dating uber-famous people."

Musk has clarified in a statement that his relationship with Ms Heard did not overlap with her marriage to Depp.

He said he only started going out with the Aquaman star 'about a month after her divorce filing'.

"I don’t think I was ever even in the vicinity of Amber during their marriage!” he said to Page Six.

In addition to shutting down rumours about his love life, he also tried to counsel the two warring actors.

“Regarding this lawsuit, I would recommend that everyone involved bury the hatchet and move on," he added.

“Life is too short for such extended negativity. Nobody is going to say, after it’s all over, that they wished the court battle had lasted longer!”
