Married At First Sight Australia's Olivia and Jackson have split up

Married At First Sight Australia's Olivia and Jackson have split up

They managed to last 10 months together after the reality TV show ended.

Ten months after Australia’s ninth season of Married At First Sight came to an end, beloved villain Olivia Frazer and partner Jackson Lonie have split up.

A post on Olivia’s Instagram page revealed the pair had decided to part ways.

In addition to a carousel of pictures of their relationship, Olivia wrote: “After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our seperate [sic] ways.

"There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship.

"We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship.

"Simply a case of ‘almost perfect’.”

The news came as a surprise to fans after Olivia and Jackson had been renting a place as a couple along NSW's Central Coast.

While the pairing lasted almost a year following the end of the show, it wasn’t always smooth sailing.

Jackson had been spotted kissing another woman in May before Olivia took a solo five-week trip to the UK overseas.

Jackson later released a video on Instagram with Olivia, saying he had 'f**ked up' by kissing TikTok star Hannah Hughes at a bar in Melbourne.

According to a source of Yahoo Lifestyle, a friend of Olivia’s stated: “Jackson was the one who ended things and [Olivia] was blindsided.

"When she got back from Europe she was talking about them getting married and moving to the UK together, but he wasn’t really wanting any of this.”

Jackson is expected to continue living in the pair’s shared residence, with Olivia moving back in with family.
